Amanda Bambrick is a real estate development lawyer and construction attorney with more than a decade of experience. She works with clients across the real estate spectrum in the areas of real estate development, acquisition, leasing, finance, licensing and compliance, land use, and post-entitlement development approval.

A facilitator at heart, Amanda often represents clients in connection with enhancing their relationships with federal, state, and local governmental and regulatory bodies to achieve successful outcomes for complex land use and real estate issues.

When she’s not practicing law, Amanda enjoys volunteering with a veterans organization and spending time outdoors with her family.

Focus on the practical resolution of business issues instead of ‘over-lawyering.’

Representative Experience

  • Real estate and land use counsel to a national retailer in the zoning, site plan, annexation, permitting and entitlements processes, as well as negotiations with and hearings before state Commerce Departments and Departments of Transportation for new and expanded facilities in the Southeast United States
  • Represents national outdoor entertainment venues in connection with land use procedures, due diligence review, and acquisition of multiple sites across the country
  • Represented a national retailer in connection with obtaining approximately $12 million in state and local incentives for the location and construction of an approximately 445,000 SF distribution center and the acquisition of a 185-acre assemblage
  • Represented a regional residential developer in negotiations with the NC State Historic Preservation Office and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in connection with delineation and historic preservation matters impacting the closing timeframe for a development in Wake County
  • Represents national and local developers in connection with the site plan, concurrent review, and subdivision processes across North Carolina with a concentrated focus in the City of Raleigh
  • Represented a real estate investment company as a mezzanine lender with respect to approximately $32 million in bridge, mezzanine, and construction loan financing for the rehabilitation of a historic structure in Charleston, SC
  • Represented a borrower and joint venture partner with respect to approximately $53 million in joint venture financing and expansive corporate restructuring of shopping center property in Raleigh, NC in partnership with JP Morgan.
  • Represents national retailers in connection with state and local alcohol regulations, state Departments of Revenue, and health department permitting and inspection processes for new and expanded facilities
  • Manages ABC and compliance permitting for wine stores, breweries, hotels and entertainment venues across multiple states
