Morningstar Law Group Welcomes Randy Whitmeyer

Morningstar Law Group is delighted to announce that Randy Whitmeyer has joined the firm as a partner. Randy is a technology attorney with 30 years of experience in the information technology industry, including over 22 years as an attorney focusing on technology and intellectual property contracts and law.  Randy serves as outside general counsel to emerging and mid-sized technology companies, and works on special projects for larger companies in a variety of industries facing technology, intellectual property, and privacy issues.

Randy joins Morningstar Law Group from Whitmeyer Tuffin, where he was founding partner. Prior to that, he spent 11 years as a partner at Hutchison Law. Randy works with companies in the Managed Service Provider, Software as a Service, Business and IT Consulting, Medical Devices and Bioinformatics industries among others. He regularly drafts and negotiates license, service and strategic alliance agreements for a variety of clients, including both private and public companies.  He also provides strategic trademark guidance for U.S. and international business and prosecutes and prepares trademark applications. Randy speaks and writes regularly on legal issues affecting the technology industry and the internet at local, national and international conferences.
