Richard has been providing strategic advice and negotiation support to technology industry pioneers for almost two decades, helping them to commercialize their offerings, grow, and manage risk. Richard also has considerable experience on the other side of the table, assisting technology licensees and users with getting the best possible deal. He has deep experience working with companies ranging in size from startups to those on the Fortune 500, and specializes in supporting organizations categorized as “mid-market.” Richard’s practice focuses primarily on infotech, digital marketing, and Internet-related matters, including the negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements and advising clients on all things technology, such as software-related issues (including open source software), social media-related issues, privacy and data security, cloud computing, semiconductor design and manufacturing, ad-tech matters, fin-tech matters, advertising and promotional campaigns (such as sweepstakes, contests and loyalty programs) and app development and distribution.
