Last week, Morningstar Law Group rallied the troops together to donate to our local Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, which serves Durham and Wake counties, as well as 34 other surrounding counties. We divided up into 4 teams and competed to see which team could donate the most: Team Protein, Team Veggies, Team Fruits and Team Whole Grains!
Team Fruits pulled off the lead in the end, but we all joined hands (figuratively speaking, since we’re working remotely) in giving a generous donation. With each teams active participation we gave a total monetary gift of $4,670 to aid our local neighbors. This gift provided 23,350 meals for those in need, making a tangible difference in the lives of many. Everybody wins. Go Team!
