The news has been out for a bit but we are nonetheless proud of Morningstar Law Group partner Amanda Mann Bambrick for her efforts to bring the ApiJect Gigafactory and an expected 650+ jobs to Durham County. Once completed, firm client ApiJect Systems’ new facility will be capable of producing 8 million single-dose prefilled injectors a day. By eliminating the need for an international supply chain, the company will have “capability of packaging up to 15 drugs simultaneously and will use materials from a supply chain sourced 100% in the US.” Partially funded by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, the facility will also be able to help respond to any national health emergency, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
