Nil Ghosh


Nil Ghosh is a real estate lawyer in Raleigh who focuses his practice on land use and zoning and commercial real estate.

Before practicing law, Nil worked in land development with a locally based company. His background in the business better enables Nil to understand his clients’ needs and assist them in obtaining and protecting entitlements from local governments and state agencies.

He also supports the firm’s transactional real estate law practice and has experience with reviewing and drafting lease and purchase agreements as well as other real estate related documents.

Nil is proud to call Durham his home and hopes to help shape the bright future of his hometown. He is an avid fan of the Tar Heels and loves muscle cars. Outside of work he enjoys trying new restaurants and recipes.

Educations and Admissions

Nil is licensed to practice in North Carolina. He graduated from Villanova Law School in 2014, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC Chapel Hill in 2009, where he was a Wade L Cavin scholar.
