Much of Jenn’s perspective comes from her years serving as in-house counsel in life sciences and healthcare companies. She previously worked at Syngenta, advising on global R&D, licensing, regulatory matters, and M&A transactions. She went on to hold leadership roles at a clinical research organization, a mature pharmaceutical manufacturer, a gene therapy company, and a metabolomics laboratory — experience that gives her a deep understanding of how scientific companies operate, develop products, and navigate regulatory complexity.
Clients value Jenn’s efficiency, insight, and ability to translate technical and legal complexity into clear, actionable strategies. Whether advising a startup on its first licensing agreement or supporting a global enterprise through a high-stakes transaction, she brings a thoughtful, responsive approach grounded in real-world industry experience.
Earlier in her career, Jenn practiced in Delaware at one of the state’s largest law firms, advising limited liability companies and partnerships. After relocating to Raleigh, she joined a boutique firm representing startups throughout their lifecycle — from incorporation and fundraising to successful exits. Her legal and scientific background makes her particularly attuned to the needs of innovative companies working to bring new technologies to market.
Outside of work, Jenn is an avid reader (she finishes more than 100 books a year), crossword enthusiast, and runner. She and her husband, Andrew, live in Raleigh with their three sons and are loyal fans of the Carolina Courage soccer team.
