Jennifer (Collins) Van Doren is a pharma attorney and licensing lawyer with more than 25 years of experience advising clients on intellectual property law and commercial transactions.

As a business lawyer, Jennifer takes a practical, business-oriented approach to achieve the best results for her clients. She represents clients of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, in complex intellectual property transactions such as collaboration agreements, joint development agreements, product divestitures, license agreements, and IT and business process outsourcing agreements. She also represents clients in advertising, promotions and sweepstakes compliance.

Prior to founding Morningstar Law Group, Jennifer was a partner at Womble Carlyle and head of the firm’s Intellectual Property transaction team. She began her legal career by clerking for U.S. Magistrate Judge Hon. Alexander B. Denson in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

When she is not practicing law, Jennifer enjoys traveling with her husband Marc and sons Deane and Wes.

  • Prepares development agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, license agreements and other contracts for clients in the pharmaceutical industry, including generics companies
  • Represents numerous clients in the preparation, review and negotiation of IT agreements, including Software as a Service agreements, Cloud agreements, Master Services Agreements and Software License Agreements
  • Represents clients in advertising, promotions and sweepstakes legal compliance
