Le’Ron A. Byrd is a commercial and business litigation attorney who helps businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals navigate complex civil disputes. He represents clients in both state and federal court, providing practical solutions and strong advocacy at every stage of litigation. In addition, Le’Ron manages post-judgment collection efforts nationwide, helping clients enforce and recover legal judgments. He also represents clients in construction-related disputes, delivering strategic guidance tailored to each case.

A strong advocate for inclusivity and equity, Le’Ron believes in building meaningful relationships with his clients, colleagues, and the broader legal community. He takes a proactive approach to legal challenges — focusing on clear communication, problem-solving, and achieving favorable results for clients.

Before joining Morningstar Law Group, Le’Ron spent five years practicing at North Carolina law firms, gaining valuable litigation experience.

Le’Ron is a leader in the North Carolina Bar Association’s Litigation Section, where he serves as a Council Member. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys playing the piano.

Representative Experience

  • Successfully defended a state retailer in connection with professional liability matter in state court where Plaintiff was seeking windfall damages in excess of $12 million.
  • Successfully obtained several judgments in state court in excess of $1 million for a Japanese car manufacturer for collateral owed and contracts breached.
  • Represented and successfully defended a national debt collection agency in a class action suit where plaintiffs sought damages in excess of $10 million pursuant to and in connection with the Fair Debt Collection Act (FDCA).
