Announced today, the NCAA reversed its earlier decision to deny wide receiver Tez Walker eligibility to play this fall for the UNC Tarheels. Attorneys from Cheshire Parker and Schneider, PLLC, and Morningstar Law Group attorneys Chris Graebe, Swain Wood, and Will Graebe represented Walker. In their statement, the team shared, “We could not be more pleased that Tez will be competing this season. The NCAA’s decision to grant Tez’s eligibility is unquestionably the correct decision under any reasonable review of the evidence. We are honored to have worked with Tez, Attorney General Josh Stein, and UNC to correct the injustice of the NCAA’s initial decision to deny Tez’s eligibility.”
