Morningstar Law Group is excited to announce the addition of Molly M. Stuart to the firm’s real estate practice.
“We are very excited that Molly is joining our team,” said MLG partner Michael Ovsievsky. “In addition to bringing significant experience representing clients in a variety of sophisticated, high stakes commercial real estate engagements, Molly embodies our firm’s core principle of putting clients first and has developed a terrific reputation in the local community. Her addition, no doubt, complements and adds depth to our existing practice and will be a great benefit to our clients. We are fortunate to have her.”
Prior to joining the firm, Molly was a Senior Associate with Kilpatrick Townsend in Raleigh and focused her practice on commercial real estate development. She was previously the staff attorney for the American Planning Association in Washington, DC where she was Editor-In-Chief of Planning & Environmental Law, a national publication for planners, and served as staff liaison to APA’s amicus curiae committee. She also served as Editor of the American Bar Association’s Section of State and Local Government Law newsletter.
Ms. Stuart has also worked as an associate of a New York-based law firm where she negotiated and drafted development, acquisition, easement, joint venture and financing agreements for private and public/private development in NYC. She also guided clients through city environmental and land use review procedures.
A graduate of Harvard Law, Molly was also a staff member of the Harvard International Law Journal.
