Michael Ovsievsky is a commercial real estate attorney who represents developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants, and end-users in complex real estate transactions across the United States. His practice focuses on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of sophisticated real estate investments, developments, financings, leasing arrangements, and related commercial transactions.

Michael advises clients throughout the full lifecycle of real estate projects, from acquisition and financing through development, leasing, and disposition. His experience spans office, laboratory, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects, including grocery-anchored and big-box retail developments.

In the development context, Michael represents owners and developers in ground-up construction and redevelopment projects, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, easements, reciprocal easement agreements (REAs), and covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs). He also advises clients on construction and project delivery matters, including drafting and negotiating AIA and customized agreements for design-bid-build, design-build, and EPC project delivery structures.

Michael regularly handles sophisticated leasing matters for both landlords and tenants, including office headquarters transactions, laboratory and research facilities, industrial and logistics properties, and anchor and big-box retail leases.
