Shannon has served as a state Superior Court Judge and a North Carolina Administrative Law Judge. As a Superior Court Judge, she presided over civil and criminal court in over thirty counties, including in more than one hundred jury trials. She decided hundreds of civil motions in every manner of case and was designated by the North Carolina Chief Justice to preside over multiple “exceptional” cases, including complex commercial matters.
